| This year Molly & Max will work closely with a number of local groups including, Basset Hound Rescue of Alabama, Birmingham Boston Terrier Rescue, Two by Two, and Great Dane Rescue. Last year’s events (National Dog Day Celebration 2007) help raise over $5000 for local rescue groups and aided in the adoption of many dogs. Our goal is to exceed that total this year and with your help I know we can make that happen! |

| 3rd Annual Wine & Treat Tasting to benefit Great Dane Rescue Thursday, August 21st 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Sample some great wine while your pooch tries some tasty treats with live music. Prizes and gifts will be raffled and silent auctioned to benefit Great Dane Rescue Inc. |

| Barks and Brews proceeds to benefit Birmingham Boston Terrier Rescue Saturday, August 9th 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Buy a raffle ticket to join the party and enjoy tasting micro-brews from Southern Brewers, delicious food, and drawings for great prizes every 30 minutes. |
| Beer & Bingo for Bassets proceeds to benefit BHRA Saturday, Aug. 23rd 5:00 – 7:00 PM Enjoy Bingo and Beer with all proceeds going to BHRA $10 for bingo cards for the opportunity to win great prizes and gifts. |

What's different this year? Events will be spread out over 3 weeks beginning on Thursday, August 7th and ending on Saturday, August 23rd. In addition to donating a portion of sales to each rescue, we will be selling official "Dog Days of Summer" t-shirts with all profits going to the participating rescue groups. | Microchip Event & Pasta for Puppies Party proceeds to benefit Two-by-Two Rescue MicroChip Event: Saturday, August 16th 12:00 PM - 6:30 PM $25 donation to get your pooch microchipped. Pasta for Puppies: August 16th, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM For a $5 donation, enjoy Italian food, drink & music to benefit Two-by-Two Rescue. |
